Superstack Software Engineer
I have over 5 years of experience in designing, developing and deploying software applications that are robust and secure.
I enjoy working with Fintech Companies and my interest in the Fintech world, more specifically in Capital Markets Distribution increases daily. I see these applications as not only just lines of code, but to the extent of values they provide by digitising the process.
The thing about me that surprises people most?:
People get surprised when they look at me as a young engineer but with the extent of knowledge in software development and as a team player.
OUT OF THE ORDINARY, BUT TRUE?:
I find solutions while I'm dreaming!
“Build your luck with hard work!”
I have a degree in Political Science, Sociology and Italian from UCT in South Africa. My past experience has been as an all rounder English teacher for Italian students along with coordinating and managing admin tasks and creating new projects for language schools. I came to the Fintech industry as a newbie and have been learning ever since.
The thing about me that surprises people most:
I am proudly South African, with Italian origins (on my Dad's side) and a sweet spot for Brazil (I lived there for a year) and love to speak different languages.
Out of the ordinary, but true?:
I am generally smiling and laughing so when I become serious especially when inspired, it catches people off guard!
" It is not good or bad, it is just different!"
Whether in different parts of the world or even different ends of the same city, Nivaurians always find ways to come together and make magic. From Tea@2, Secret santa, to sessions with buddhist monks, to virtual travel through Medici family in Florence and learning how to make tiramisu, we always come together.
We would like to wish all our colleagues, partners & friends a very happy Easter.
This year we have decided to team up with the AIL Easter egg campaign, which raises awareness, supports research and improves the quality of life for patients & their families during their fight against Leukaemia & other blood diseases.
